Nestled in the front of Manoa is a magical Tree House, or so Spencer thinks. He likes to call his family home in Honolulu, Hawaii a Tree House. The only thing that makes it tree house-like are the trade winds that rush thru the windows and the chatty dino-birds that serve as an alarm clock. While home for the holiday we helped his parents revamp two rooms. Here is that story, starring the bedroom and the bathroom.

I believe in mixing old with new to create a fresh updated look. Here we went from a bedroom filled with childhood games and athletic accomplishments to a guest room to welcome happy travelers.

This bathroom needed some lightening so we opted to paint half the room white while using this pretty green hue to bring color to the room. The new white vanity also adds to the new light and bright vibe of the room. The letter towel hooks are for the keiki, Makena, Kainoa and Mehana. My favorite of all has to be the shower curtain and pineapple print from Heartland Brooklyn.
